Clothing measurements are established by measuring flat across the front of a garment, generally along bust, waist, hips, and top-to-bottom length. To determine whether a piece will fit you, likewise measure a well-fitting piece of your own clothing.

Hair Dye

The hair dye colours displayed are based on bleached hair.

This is a vegetable-based dye. It contains no ammonia and can thus be left in for longer periods of time to achieve deeper and longer-lasting colour. The (staying power) of the dye will depend on a number of factors; how long it is left in for, whether or not it is put on bleached hair, how often you wash your hair, etc.

Hats

Hat measurements are not exact.

To find your approximate hat size, wrap a measuring tape around your head at about the middle of your forehead, as this is where a hat should sit. If you own a hat that fits you well, you can also measure this to find your best size.

Jewellery

Pieces that appear under the Silver Jewellery heading are sterling silver.

Pieces in the Costume Jewellery category are most often mixed metals.

Body Jewellery items are surgical steel unless otherwise specified.

(Please note that sterling silver can tarnish with exposure to air and contact with the skin. A cleaning with a treated polishing cloth generally works.)
