• About the Artist: Cynthia I. Noel was born and raised in St. John's, Newfoundland, Canada. Her love of drawing and painting flourished very early in life and is self taught. Her style is inspired by the impressionists such as Manet, Degas and Toulouse-Lautrec. 
• About the Print: Icebergs flow through this area just outside St. John’s harbour every spring. Spectacular to watch the bergs from Signal Hill or from the edge of the Battery built by the British to defend the rich fishing grounds. The Heritage Lighthouse was originally built in c.1813.
